For Use on the Field

Field personnel may request a block set of case histories for promotional use on the field. One excellent time to present sponsorship is when teams come in to work on or visit schools. Following is the suggested procedure for receiving/processing such case histories.

1. Request your Representative to send to the field a block set of case histories. She will process them and send them to you.

2. When you receive them you will note a white card attached to each case history form. This card must be filled out completely by the new sponsor and returned to the Sponsorship Care Office so the Representative can complete the new assignment process and do follow up with the sponsor when they return home.

3. The sponsor, after filling out the white card, may keep the case history and photo of the child they just chose to sponsor. You will probably want to keep a copy of the sponsor’s info or you may place it on the list that was attached to the case histories when they were first received.

4. Tell the sponsor they should hear from the Sponsorship Care Office in a couple of weeks with additional information concerning the program and the child they sponsor.

5. Return the white card with completed sponsorship information to the Sponsorship Care Office.

6. Note: If a sponsor visits your field and sees a child who is unsponsored and for whom there is no case history, please make sure you send the following to the Sponsorship Care Office as soon as possible - case history information, child id, sponsor’s name & address, and a photo of child.) This will allow your Representative to prepare and send a printed case history form along with the photo to the new sponsor with their sponsorship packet.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.
